Unfortunately the same can not be said for all former statesmen from whichever country they represented. Sir, I only hope and pray that when you met with President Obama earlier this month that there was a recognition of something from the past, from when you first started your term of office. Once elected, so many of those hopes were fufilled, especially when President Carter selected Andrew Young, a brave veteran of the Civil Rights movement, to be the US Ambassador to the United Nations. The jest of the day was, If we are visited by aliens who began their tour at the most logical of places, the United Nations, they would assume that America was a "colored" country.
