Mansfield: I find your statements to very closely echo those of a right wing Republican blog.

And the point is? ... that everything I say is discredited because I must be a right wing republican?

Actually, I am not. Not even American. Just some poor goddamn nonentity wondering what the hell has happened to the world, and expecting more of the same from the next White House, viz. dishonesty, arrogance, war & genocide.

Brilliant. This analysis offers an enlightening perspective against the backdrop of the usual skepticism. - RAI Price

Since you're even questioning Obama's birth certificate authenticity, I find your statements to very closely echo those of a right wing Republican blog.

Some things were true or almost true; but most were blatantly false. - Mike Mansfield

Is the messiah a liar?

The highest office in the land is generally staffed by disingenuous figures who equivocate and distort and misrepresent according to the exigencies of the moment. Reagan knew nothing about arms for hostages. George Bush sr promised no new taxes. Bill Clinton did not have sex with that woman. George W Bush invaded a sovereign state in full knowledge that his averred pretext for doing so was utterly fake(d). And now we have Obama aspiring to be CiC. His list of little mendacities is growing in tandem with his nose, not least of which was his loudly stated aversion to a FISA bill granting retroactive immunity to the telecoms fraternity - that he subsequently voted for. What about his feigned ignorance of Pastor Wright's brand of virulent rhetoric - after a 20 year membership of the congregation? Then there was a June campaign ad which claimed he had voted for legislation to extend healthcare to wounded vets - when if fact he was absent for the vote. And now there is this nagging issue of a Hawaiian COLB that appears to have been forged. There will be more. In terms of not telling it like it is, Mr Obama has more than qualified himself for the oval office. He will be joining a long line of dissemblers and dissimulators. So anything he says now about timetables and troop withdrawals ... well, put it this way: let's not hold our breath. - Reg Corleonis

War critics must understand, as you forcefully put it, that withdrawal timetable is the issue, not how many remain at any point along the way. - Doug Johnston
